Romain Gauthier is an exclusive high-end watch manufacture based in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland.
In 2014 Gauthier invited Höfke to feature her artwork on one of his timepieces, a tribute to Rio de Janeiro. Her design was recreated using an intricate micro-marquetry made out of 352 unique, mirror-polished, miniature tiles of jade and agate, signed by Olivier Vaucher.
The result is the "Logical One Secret Kakau Höfke" which has recently been pre-selected as one of the top six watches in the Artistic Craft category of the 2015 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève.
In 2012, Kakau Höfke was invited by Macy’s, the biggest department store in the United States, to illustrate part of their campaign “Brasil, A Magical Journey”, a tribute launched on march 15th that lasted for 2 months.
Besides millions of shopping bags, Kakau’s art also illustrated folders, invitations and posters at the launch party. Even the runway where models walked clothes and accessories created by brazilian stylists, carried her design.
Since the tribute happened in 300 stores, Kakau’s art colored the streets of NY and other american cities, literally!
In 2013 a super modern and sophisticated stationery in Rio, called Papel Craft, known for its high level products and partnerships with artists, launched the line Paper Craft + Kakau Höfke.

The partnership between Kakau and BIBI SUCOS, the most traditional juice store in Rio, started in 2011. Kakau signs the new visual identity of the 14 stores of the chain.
